Updated with KONBU fabric for upper, we pay tribute to the Onitsuka Tiger’s MEXICO 66® SLIP-ON style. Taking inspiration from our best-selling icon, the style showcases a retro look and contemporary techniques. KONBU, a nylon material made in Japan, is a high-density fabric with special processing characterized by its light weight, smooth touch and durability to retain its shape even after long-time usage. The MEXICO 66 model combines the features of the original LIMBER-UP™ training shoe that debuted in 1961 and the design of the Limber shoe debuted in 1966, as one of the first models that featured the iconic Onitsuka Tiger Stripes.
